Pomegranate
Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is grown in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The total area under cultivation of pomegranate in India is 107 thousand hectare and production is around 743 thousand tons. Maharashtra is the leading producer of pomegranate followed by Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Ganesh, Bhagwa, Ruby, Arakta and Mridula are the different varieties of pomegranates produced in Maharashtra. In India, pomegranate is commercially cultivated in Solapur, Sangli, Nasik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Dhule, Aurangabad, Satara, Osmanabad and Latur districts of Maharashtra; Bijapur, Belgaum and Bagalkot districts of Karnataka and to a smaller extent in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

Method of Suryashakthi Application:
First Application
Magic Root to be applied first (0th day), followed by RuBisCO-ACT (Formula 1) application after 11-days (11th Day) and then 14 days after (25th Day) Photon-MAX to be applied and no chemical fertilizer should be given 12 to 15days prior to Formula-1 application and 15 to 20 days after formula-2 application.
Magic Root Preparation: Dissolve 200gm of Athreya-ZINC+ in 100 liter water first, followed by 2.5Kg of 12:61:0 (MAP) and 2.5Kg of Sulfate of Potash (SOP) with stirring, then add 1Kg of Magic Root and mix well, add 100 liter water and mix well before applying.
RuBisCO-ACT Preparation: Dissolve 1Kg of RuBisCO-ACT in 100-liter water, mix well and then add 100-liter water leave it for 10 minutes and mix well before application.
Photon-MAX Preparation: Dissolve 1Kg of Photon-MAX in 100-liter water, mix well and then add 100-liter water leave it for 20 minutes and mix well before application.
Fruit Special Preparation: Dissolve 1Kg of Fruit Special in 100-liter water, mix well and then add 100-liter water leave it for 20 minutes and mix well before application
Dosage
Soil application
- Up to 2 years – 1 liter per plant
- 2nd years to 5 Years – 3 liter per plant
- After 5 years – 4 liters per plant
Foliar Application
- Foliar application is followed for RuBisCO-ACT, Photon-MAX and Fruit-Special application, if heavy dose fertilizers are applied to soil at the rate of 2.5gm per liter solution along with 0.5ml of SR-85 per liter.
- Spray should be carried out only after 4.30PM or evening times for best results.
Ba-Fu Stat Preparation
For making 200 liter of solution, first dissolve 100ml of SR-85 in 100 liters of water and stir well for minute, then add 500ml of Ba-Fu Stat mix well and makeup the volume to 200 liters by adding 100 liters water, mix well before initiating spraying. Spray should be completed with in 4 hours of solution preparation and can be sprayed during any time of the day, provided no moisture on the leaves.
