Paddy (Rice)

Rice is the most important cereal food crop of India, which occupies about 24 per cent of gross cropped area of the country. It contributes 42 per cent of total food grain production and 45 per cent of total cereal production of the country. The average productivity of rice in India, at present, is 2.2 tons/ha, which is far below the global average of 2.7 tons/ha. The productivity of rice in India is higher than that of Thailand and Pakistan but much lesser than that of Japan, China, Vietnam and Indonesia. Among the major states, rice had the largest area coverage in West Bengal followed by Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab and Tamilnadu. The problems/ constraints in rice production vary from state to state and also from area to area. It has been observed that rice plant do not respond to the application of N, P and K due to some inherent characteristics of some types of soils.

Advantages of Suryashakthi in rice cultivation

  • Application of Suryashakthi promotes active root and leaf formation.
  • Active root mass in Suryashakthi treated plot was more than double compare to chemical fertilizer treated plot.
  • Leaf growth and development was better, and the color of the leaf is more vibrant, natural and not dark green as compared the chemical fertilizer applied field.
  • Seed filling was uniform in Suryashakthi treated plot and the non-filled seeds percentage was close to 2% compared to non-filled seeds in chemical fertilizer treated (28%).
  • The yield improvement is about 35% in Suryashakthi treated plot compared to fertilizer treated plot.
  • Suryashakthi applied was 3Kg RuBisCO-ACT and 3Kg Photon-MAX at 25 days after transplanting.
  • Application of 50% recommended chemical fertilizer after 20 days from Suryashakthi application enhanced the rice yield by 45% more compared to 100% recommended chemical fertilizer applied field.
  • Application of Suryashakthi improves the crop health and there by increases the tolerance to the diseases like leaf blast, leaf blight, leaf spot, stem rot and such diseases.

Diseases of Paddy

  • Leaf Blast
  • Leaf Blight
  • Bacterial Streak
  • Stem Rot Disease Symptoms

Method of Suryashakthi Application:

  • 3Kg of RuBisCO-ACT (Formula – 1) per acre to be applied after 10 and before 15days after transplantation into main field.
  • 2. 3Kg of Photon-MAX (Formula – 2) per acre to be applied after 12 days and before 18 days of Formula – 1 application.

Application time:

  • 10 to 15 days after seedling transplantation into main field.

Caution: Suryashakthi should not be mixed with any chemical fertilizer or agrochemicals during application and 20 days gap is must for better effectiveness after chemical fertilizer application. Also give 20days gap after Formula – 2 applications for better results. Suryashakthi gives best results in presence of bright Sunlight and adequate watering.
